C3 Body Crack
Just purchased a 1978, upon further inspection, I found that there is a three inch fiberglass crack on the passenger side just after the entry protective plate (toward the back of the door lower door jam just before where the fiberglass starts to curve up). What could have caused this and is there a repair?

Have no idea of the cause other than maybe stress. Fix is easy if you know how. Suggest you seek out a competent shop that has done work with fiberglass, either cars or boats.
