My 70 has had to have lowered - from the Fender Nose to the ground is 20" and the back bumper to the ground it 21" - what is normal height and where exactly do I need to measuring from. I am getting new wheels etc. and was currious -
Measure the real Z&D heights. These are suspension measurements, not body measurement. Measure the difference from the lower ball joint on the lower control arm to the center of the bolt on the inner side of the lower control arm. This height difference is the way they were measured when they were built.
Your pic's pretty small, but from what I can tell, your ride hieght looks fairly normal. Believe it about the clearance issues--my front springs got a little soft over the years, and one day I took a sharp right turning into traffic and lost a 2" chunk of the lip of my fender well. Looked good sitting that low, though!
