Default extra guage location

I'm in need of some advice/assistance as to the location of extra gauges for my 72 stingray. I have a big block hood and was thinking of making a panel for the gauges and mounting it under the hood to the ledge separating the engine compartment from the windshield wiper well. Comments
I also thought of mounting the gauges inside the car but am unable to find a location where they are readily visible. I have the stock gauges (working) in the car but want to add 2 more.
Anyone out there know of a kit/panel they make (aftermarket) that is suited for what i am trying to do? If you have ideas or know of how other vette owners have solved this problem by all means let me know.
Cheers

Autometer makes bezels to mount gauges on the inside windshield posts for Camaro's. You might be able to recontour one of those to fit the Vette.

I have seen them mounted where the radio is, but that only works if you remove the radio, and one person on here mounted a gauge in the swivel ball valuve by the door on the left of the car, it looks nice but is kinda low. You could also remove some of the gauges you dont really need that you already have, liek the clock, and replace them with some autometers.
