Default Please help with wheel choices

I have a new 1972 corvette, I want to put some wheels on my car. I'm thinking tork II's. I want the same look as I have witht the centerlines. Can anyone check my web site with centerlines. then tell me what size of tt2's i will need. I really dont understand back spacing... ect. If you have any pictures of different types of wheels, please post a picture and let us know what the sizes are.
thanks for your help. My 1972 with centerlines

Personally I thing Centerline Auto Drags like yours or Convo Pros are about the best-looking wheels I've seen on the Sharks.

No disrespect intended to the TTII crowd. Those are nice-looking, too.

If you are getting new wheels, why not get 17" or 18" wheels so that you can get access to the modern tires which are much better than the old 15" ones.....john

It's a matter of what you like, don't worry about the rest of us and what we personally like. Wheel choice for me depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Most wheels look great on sharks except for a couple of styles I've seen at Wal-mart. As for my choice I choose Centerline Daggers at 17 x 8 with 4.0 backspacing, this matches stock BS so no worries about caliper clearances.

Hey, that's the same wheels I've got. (Western Minilites)
Not painted though.

Haven't decided whether to paint them or replace.
My caps are different though. . .

Boy, I wish someone would make the mid-70's Corvette stock slotted aluminum in 16- or 17-inch versions...

We have the same rims. I know how you feel, I sometimes feel like changing my rims to chrome 17" or 18". Every time I ask someone they always talk me out of it. Maybe someone could do a photo chop with your pics and you get an idea what it would look like with other rims.

here is mine:

I wish tirerack.com or someone would include a C3 on their site to "try on" different styles.

http://www.superbuytires.com is the same way. Most online wheel dealers don't have a 68-82 Corvette listing. It's sad.

BTW: HRE makes some awsome custom rims.

Here you go

I think your centerlines are but it would look excellent with 17" or 18" TTII's also.
