Window Tint removal?

Has anyone ever tried this? I just purchased my vette. It has dark tint, which I know is illegal in Wisconsin. How do I get this stuff off?

if it's good tint, take it and pay
to have it done easier to bitch about the $$ that get so mad as to want to bust the glass to get it off

razor - then vinegar to wash off adhesive (so I'm told - never did it).

I just pulled mine off my Blazer window and used a 3M green pad and soap to wash off the adhesive (in the dark).

I now have wonderful dancing swirl marks when I drive at night to keep me comany.

get a heatgun or a hairdryer to soften up the tint, then scrap and peel...use 3m all purpose cleaner to clean up sticky glue..trust me, i know, i got pulled over and fined big$$ for tint in my daily driver.

sure

soapy water anand a razor blade.... the soapy water softens up the adhesive so it's not that bad to scrape off........ should only take 10 minutes per window if there is alot of isht on it
