Smart Struts Squeak

I just got VBP's Smart Struts in the mail today. When I move the strut rods, the poly bushings squeak. The bushings look impossible to get out without hacking. What's the best way to grease up the bushings?

Might try taking them off and soaking the ends in syn gear lube. They also may have graphite in them which will release as they break in and quite them down.

all the poly bushings i've seen do, i haven't used the poly-graphite one's
on anything yet

If you remove the sleeve the bushings will pop out. Call VBP and see if they'll send you some grease.

I've found that if you spray the ends of the bushings with molybdenum disulphide spray lube, the lube seeps in and stops the squeak. Respray if first spray doesn't work. This saves taking the struts apart.
