New Member with a big rust problem

I'm a long time reader. I'm currenty away at college in Flint, MI and my Vette is 14 hours away in Nebraska. My problem is I have a major rust problem with the body mounts. (They're almost gone) Have any of you replaced them. What is involved in it. The best place to get parts? Any help would be great.

i had the same problem. turns out after i started taking things apart. the rusty body mounts weren't the only things rusted out. you might want to start really looking hard at it when you get the chance.

I'VE HAD IT ON A RACK AND HAD EVERYTHING INSPECTED. RF LOWER CONTROL ARM WELDS WHERE RUSTED AND CRACKED THE WHOLE WHEEL WAS ABOUT TO FALL OFF. A LOCAL FABRICATOR WAS ABLE TO REPAIR IT. WE COULDN'T FIND ANY OTHER DAMAGE THE FRAME

Both Would Be Nice Know Anyone With An Enclosed Car Trailer Forsale

Sorry but no enclosed trailer. I do have a all alum open trailer with a air dam to protect your car from rock chips for sale. $3650 20ft long with alum ramps and fenders that are removable so you can open the drivers door and get out of the car with out crawling out the window. Weight is 1300 lb.
