Ignitor II are real POS! I have one and it failed after about 3 months. The Ignitor was better, the best bet is to convert your stock distributor to HEI. http://davessmallbodyheis.com $175.00 to convert your old distributor.
There are some other people that sell electronic oonvertors,
Crane Cams is one that comes to mind, but I don't know how reliable they are.
Mine failed after about two or three months use. After having to swap the points back into the distributor in the middle of the night at a gas station I was not going back. I returned mine and got my money back. I have since moved to the more pricey MSD setup and have had not troubles with it.
