This was on a very low revving, low compression 502. I believe MassVette had a similar experience with the Hooker glasspacks. It makes a very big impression when you see it with your own eyes on your own car.

I was gone to buy the jcl's also but i went and welded my own setup from speedway motors and im very happy with them.Im not saying jcl.s arent better or im not saying there not but im happy with how these sound and feel.

Theres always more than one way to skin a cat. (animal advocates back off) I had some mufflers made by CREMCO to my specs for my sidepipes after track testing showed conclusively my HOOKER mufflers were robbing HP. To make a long story short, the car ran within 2 hundreths of open tubes with these mufflers in the eighth mile. They cost $90 for both. I considered the JCL's but it just wasn't in MY budget at the time.
