QJet question.

Can I use idle mixture adjustment screws from an older style QJet to replace the 'D' shaped ones on my 79?

The short answer is yes. But the proper tool to adjust your style of mixture screws is also available from most tool suppliers (Mac, Snap-On) fairly inexpensively.

, i went to my local pepboys and they had a carb adjusting set, with a special screwdriver and attachments to fit any carb, the screwdriver had a cool cable that let you tune out the screws without bending over

Since the adjustment tool is available, I think Ill go for it.
do you know the name of the tool.

I dont want to go to the parts store and ask for the doohicky to turn the Idle screw things.
