Oh yeah good ole Halon 1301. Navy used that stuff for years down in engineering spaces. Puts out a oil fire real quick. Not good for the nervous system though. Ask me how I know. I have my CO2 bolted on top of my speaker box, out of site.

Not correct! It is not Halon, but Halotron which is more enviormentally safe.
I think they are the same. Here is one from the GP. If I remember correctly we paid in the $175 range.
I think we paid about 180ish, but the GP ones came with the bracket if I remember right...longer seat bolts, allen wrench and all...nice kit. I just put mine in last week, I love it.
According to H3R, who sells both Halon and Halotron extinguishers, Halon is not only twice as powerful as Halotron (i.e. 1.25lb Halon unit packs same punch as a 2.5lb Halotron), it is less expensive than Halotron, and less toxic to humans. Perhaps that's why Halotron can't be used in the home, but Halon can(?). Bummer is that it does deplete the ozone more than Halotron.
