How about instead of jumping down his throat, and getting mad at him for being annoyed that his thread was hijacked, we attempt to stay on topic, Hmmmmm?

hmm... it was my understanding that the question was answered. Yes, the system can support the extra 100 pounds. Not much more to say.

And this design spring you are talking about offers a wide range of adjustability where as coil spring setup's do not.

One more thing Chill a bit lol
I appreciate the info Shake , I had already assumed that I would have to adjust the spring to its highest level . I wasnt sure if this system was also to be used with a big block car . Feeling a litttle at ease now .
I appreciate helpful people like you .

#3 When you go to a party and you don't know anyone there the first thing you should do is introduce yourself not ask someone where the beer is and then get pissed off when no one tells you exactly where it is.

Finally the monospring kit only fits 83 Vettes with blowers
For one Mick , you must think you are dealing with an uneducated individual in the field of Vettes . The 83 vette quote is quite hollarious .
The whole issue here is that anything and everything I do with this car now is reflecting around the fact that it will be propelled with a Blown engine so this is why blower is mentioned so often . I am not demanding anything either , you have poor vision !

Mick , your a waste ! A party is far from my entensions . And the hell with Beer , I am a Crown Man , not to mention -- I'd bring my own bottle .

I still have not seen the obligatory "Hi I'm Jamison I'm new here I just bought my first Vette and wish it was as nice as yours" post!

If I didnt know any better , I would think that you are trying to be looked up to . Not by me Sport . Go harrass the sales people " Mr Thinks He's It " . Always a coward hiding behind the puter .

And this is not my first Vette , it is my first monoleaf spring kit .
I have fabricated and restored vettes for the last 28 years and this is the first vette I will be powering with a 671 Blower ( or was I allowed to say that word ? ).

One more thing to add. Since you are going to throw that much engine in the car I would really look at the DragVette setup just do a google search for that company. In about two weeks he will be producing a nice 6 link setup which according to a few posters here on the forums and magazine articles reduce breakage and also increase safty should a half shaft brake.

And Again I say Chill . There are lots of good people here and many play around a bit. I know it will take time but do not take offense.

All of us on here are on a Bad Drug called CORVETTE . Have a great day.

Hi orange76

Don't think bad about this forum. It is the best place to get help for our Vettes.
Just overlook some posts or take them as a joke in the first place.
I never had any problems so far and I did ask many stupid questions.
Always got a professional answer , just read between the lines.

Vette owners/drivers are always gentle people.

So, the monoleaf front spring is not OK for my 427 CI BB ?
Does VB&P say anything to this fraying problem ?

Rgds. Gunther

Are you sure, the coils are really light, I doubt the leaf is much lighter. As for the lower amrs, the VB&P arms are heavier I think, add to that all the brackets & stuff and I'm quite positive it's heaveir than the stock stuff. How the hell can it be 200lbs lighter if the 2 lower control amrs + springs on the stock setup don't even weigh that much???

Alright you I let this die 6 days ago which in forum time is like a lifetime and you had to bring it back.

You have now called me a "coward", "waste", "childish" and "jerk" all in this thread because I said you had an "demanding attitude" regarding the way you asked this question.

Does anyone know whether or not this system will be sufficient ?
With all your vast knowledge which existing forum members questions have you answered?
