Holley 4160 fast idle help
My Holley 4160 will not reduce its idle unless I push the fast idle cam. Sometimes if I hit the accelerator hard it will kick down. Even then it wants to increase the RPMs back up if I start to drive it again. Any suggestions on what to look for. I know I dont have any vacuum leaks. Any help is appreciated.

I had that happen with my 3310. Turned out to be the throttle return spring. The spring retainer was moving. In fact it moved far enough to be ineffective in pulling the throttle back down to idle. PIA
