New Shifter

My shifter has been acting up so i was thinking about springing for a new one...any suggestions on models
also...where could i get step by step instructions for replacing it? thanks

Hurst. Just installed a Competition/Plus in my '76. Did use a stock looking stick from Zip. Stick alone was $90.

Were you able to do it without unbolting and jacking up the transmission? that stock plate was an unbelieveable PITA for me to remove.

I'm too embarrased to say how I messed it up...gotta order both arms again. I had a bad day last night...lol. That and bleeding the brakes....bleeder on front right caliper is broken off.
