Default Quick Auto to Stick/Muncie Question

If I am switching from Turbo 400 to muncie 4sp, do I need a shorter driveshaft, or is that just with the aftermarket 5&6 spds.

Mucie and richmond 5 speed use the same driveshaft as what you have. No need to shorten. Depending on which tranny, you may need different yoke though. M22 and Richmond use the large th400 yoke. M20 and M21 use smaller yoke.

In 71 the Muncies went to 26 spline input and larger Turbo 400 rear yoke.
