Default Can a car be "Re-Titled"?

I live in a state (New Hampshire) where a car does not have to be sold with a title if it is a certain age (not sure what it is).
I've owned my car since '85 and have never had a title, and didn't think too much about it until lately.
It would be great to have a title, does anybody know if this is possible?

Can't speak for your state, but if it was brought to Tennesse you would get a title. Alabama doesn't have titles before 75 and Georgia doesn't require them after a certain number of years. If you get a bill-of-sale car there, you get a title when you register it in Tenn.

Did you try online DMV for your state? Search for Duplicate Title. Some states, before titles became the norm, ownership was recorded on the registration. To sell it to someone else, all you had to do was to sign the back of the registration over to the new owner. THe new owner would take it to DMV and a new registration was issued in the new owner's name.
