What is the best/easier way to remove 31 years of wear from the stainless steel T-Bar and windshield reveal moldings? The T-Bar shows some scuff marks where the weatherstripping has rubbed on it and a small area that looks like a previous owner dropped it on a concrete surface.

polish ,do a test with a dremel .. if it works get a unit srtong enough
to do all you need to do
I did this with mine, I used a power drill with a polishing mop and some polishing compound. Before this a used an ultra fine scotch-bright Wheel to get out the scratches and then started with the mop, took some time but came up a treat.
I bought a medium, 8" buffing wheel at Home Depot, the cloth one, and put it on my bench grinder. Used The rouge they sold right beside it, medium for the scratch removal and then fine for the shine.
It's a lot quicker and easier than a drill and it came out great. The windshield trim looks new.
My Tbar was pretty scratched up and it came out pretty nice, not new looking but 100% better than what it was.
Eastwood company sells a stainless steel buffing compound which works very well. I was able to wet sand out some fairly deep scratches on mine; buff it with this compound and then polich it with Flitz. It looks like new.
