Default Looking for new mufflers...

I'm currently using these: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?d...9359EU29500439

They're pretty close to straight through. I'm thinking about Flowmasters, the stainless steel option and the variety (40,50,Delta,etc.) look good. If I want a little less noise (by no means quiet though) do I want 40s? Do I want the Deltaflow version?

Any other good (reasonable$) options?

Thanks,
Chris

I have dual exhaust all the way to the rear with chrome tips. I am going to Hooker Headers next year....next project...Cragar SS Mags. I do not have any of the smog control or catalitic converters...just straight exhaust . If you want to hear what each of the Flowmaster mufflers sound like, go to www.flowmastermufflers.com. I has some really cool sound bytes of each of the mufflers they make

My 40's replaced a set of perfectly good DynoMax's. I doubt that I gained any power but I sure like that sound a lot better!
