Default Looking for new mufflers...

I'm currently using these: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?d...9359EU29500439

They're pretty close to straight through. I'm thinking about Flowmasters, the stainless steel option and the variety (40,50,Delta,etc.) look good. I want a little less noise but by no means quiet, do I want 40s? Do I want the Deltaflow version?

Any other good (reasonable$) options?

Thanks,
Chris

I went with magnaflows performance mufflers. They are fully polished stainless steel with a straight thru design. I have no cats and the mighty L48. They are not as loud as i thought they would be which is a good thing for me.

I personally have Hooker Maximum flow mufflers on my car. I believe they are in the 50-60 dollar range from summit. They sound really good at idle and get louder when you get on the throttle. They are painted all black so they hide under the car nicely.

I have Dynomax Ultraflow polished Stainless mufflers. They are much like the Magnaflows in that they are a straight through design. They were pretty quiet when new (about 2 years ago) but are now a little louder. They have little resonance and a nice tone that is not annoying. I got the set from Mid America. Here's a pic.

I'm running the Ultra Flos (welded) as well and absolutely LOVE the growl they gave my car. _QUITE_ awesome.

You should give them or the Magnaflows a shot, if you're running 2.5" exhaust these mufflers should be good up to about 500 hp.
