I've used it on a large portion of my frame, and even my trailing arms, and it looks awesome, and doesnt come off, im not sure about fiberglass, but i bet it would stick to it. Overall a great product, im very pleased
I did my entire frame and all painted pieces with POR-15. Red stuff was painted with POR-15, topcoated with tie coat primer, sprayed red and clearcoated. I love the stuff and would recommend it to anyone

You can hit POR-15 coated metal with a hammer, it will dent but the POR will not chip off. The clearcoat I used is called Pelucid and is as hard as POR-15.
I'm going to go with Line-X for my underbody. If you haven't heard of Line-X there are other brands out there but I don't know the names. This material is often sprayed in the beds of trucks to make a durable, waterproof, and cosmeticly appealing barrior. The Line-X company said the only time they've ever seen it come off of something was when a 100 lb brick of concrete fell into the truck and the corner hit first. He said even then only about a pencil eraser size piece came off.
The cost for my 1975 is $400 so it's a little pricey. I can't paint to save my life so it's really not much more then I'd be paying the shop to paint the underside anyway and this will provide a lifetime of sound deadining and heat barrior. I'm only going to do this if it doesn't add much weight (5-10 lbs). Any more then that and I'll go with paint.
POR-15 is made by POR-15. That's the product...that's the company. (por15.com) If it ran...then it was applied WAY too thick cause it's self leveling. Since it can be sprayed or brushed, I've used it on numerous engine & frame parts with AWSOME results. Regular POR can withstand up to 300 degrees, so it's great for engine brackets, valve covers, etc. They also sell a high temp paint that can be brushed or sprayed that I've used. Didn't like the coverage of the high temp. Would go with Eastwood "one shot" with hardener for a brush on engine paint. Did my 72 in it and turned out great.
