i just found this on zip corvettes webpage.. its a rebuild kit which is just what I need.. but my wallet doesnt like that price.. I might be stuck with it though

.......I rebuilt mine with the same Zip kit.........took me about an hour..........sure makes it look good........

.............it's gotta be one of the cheapest/best value for money things I've bought so far..........same price as a headlight service valve.....and that's just a tiny piece of plastic

I repaired mine some time ago. It takes some time to take everything apart, clean, paint, regrease and change the wires but it's not too difficult.
