Default Merlin522 in the house...

Wow, when I'm away how you little devils will play!

My quick assesment of that huge thread a while back (which someone did me the favor of alerting me to)

Rolm? I have no comments. I don't even know you & you don't know me. I have no idea what your major malfunction is.

I'm a spaz. Maybe. I've been called worse.

I ran off to canada with some ho??? Yes & bigfoot really DOES exist.

I made money by having no skill - simply being in the right place at the right time - for 15 years running mind you.

I have no clue how to manage money. Interesting. You know this based on what?

Merlin was stupid. To each his own.

Of course We always need to hear from Ganey - I mean after all, I have no automotive knowledge, right?

Yikes, now I'm gay??? I'll let you guys have a look at what I've been up to & decide for yourself if I am gay, lost all my money - or whatever your devious little minds can come up with! The Corvette was a blast & I'll never forget it - right or wrong. For now, I've moved into a different league altogether. One day I hope to do another Merlin but for now, I'm too busy to even entertain it. Besides, photographing models is more fun! Oh, and as to the car in the picture, I will quote Ferris Bueller: "If you have the means, I highly recommend you pick one up."

*************SORRY, BABES ARE NOT ALLOWED....REPOST LINK WITHOUT BABES........GDaina

Quick-Bowtie, I just want to thank you. You just made my decade. I knew the car would work as expected. Very few people really believed in me, but there were some here on the forum that did & were very helpful. You own it & have fixed it up and they STILL don't believe you! So many little minds in the world. It's really sad but ultimately, this is what makes pushing the envelope so fun. All I ever wanted to do was build something really cool & exciting. I still believe that many of my performance claims are possible - of course changes might need to be made. None of the software I ever built worked 100% the first time. You keep trying until you get it right! For a first attempt, it's a damn good car. Next one I build will be better...

I want to focus on the good in the world, not the little negative minds. Thank you to those who stuck up for me. I really appreciate it & I hope you are all doing really well! I'l continue to stop in from time to time. I should work out a pay per click deal on the threads with my name in them. Hehehe...

-Steve

P.S. Twin Turbo - thank you for posting those pictures!! I had not seen the car finished & all cleaned up. Just seeing that makes all the negative comments go away. What an awesome car. You know why I can say that? Because I'm the maniac that dreamed it up! :o)

My grandmother always said... anyone up and about this time of night is either getting rid of trouble or causing it.... hee hee. Okay, let me get this straight... You went to Canada and found Bigfoot. Who just happens to be able to fit in your 2000 Ferrari 360. You stopped at a rest stop to buy some film and a girl asked you to take some photos of her... IN YOUR CAR.... IN A BIKINI and... looking kinda sexy.... hmmm... I don't know... WHY isn't Bigfoot in the picture?!!!

What's up Merlin.... glad to see your doing good...

Hey... did you ever think about keeping your web up from YOUR custom Corvette build up? I should have locked and loaded them onto my PC from the beginning.... have a good one...

Thanks guys! Everything is going well - just busy as a ***** these days. Glad to see the economy kicking butt again. Hope this holds true in your neck of the woods too. America is coming back, slowly but surely!

Mr. Gearhead - just a quick correction, as you know the spider wasn't launched until 2001 You're a couple years off, but close enough

I've got all the pics stored away on disc somewhere - I've moved to a different house & don't have the fiber here so I'm wary of hosting them on Comcast's dinky 384K upload. I'm happy to try & send photos if anyone wants them but honestly - those photos posted by the new owner look the best. At least it's finished & all cleaned up.

If somebody has some server space & decent bandwidth, I have no problems providing the source code & photos. The site was dynamic, so we'd also need a SQL server. I need to keep my bandwidth open for business purposes - otherwise, I would be happy to post the site again...

Hey Merlin -

Good to hear from you. Add me to the list of those who would love to see the buildup photos again. It was especially interesting to me as I'm in the middle of my re-build.

Hey who would have thought that all those photos of a car would lead to a career in photography??

I would also love to see pics of your build up its a shame that so many people can have so much hate towards one of their own forum members, and hold a grudge for so long

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I realize whenever you do something outside the box that people will get upset, but that is no right to personally attack someone.

Gdaina - I'm going to lay it out for you plain & simple. This is not a threat, it is a guarantee. You are quick to yank my link just because it has pictures of fully clothed women, yet you have no problem leaving discussions where people question my sexual orientation & other such defamations behind my back. This is a public forum & you are the admin. If I see it again, I will hold you & the Corvette Forum personally responsible. I think you know me well enough to realize I have the means & the desire to carry that threat out. It will be between you guys & the lawyers if I see it again without any attempt on your part to put a stop to it and remove the offending people who post such nonsense. Deal?

I have made copies of both posts - this one showing that you have the ability to remove content & did so. In the last post you decided not to exercise that ability which shows bias & poor judgement on your part...
