To me, Millenium Yellow looks great on the C5's. I think it has to much of a orange/red tint to it for a C3. But if that's what your looking for by all means go for it.

Ahh, those wheels will be for sale in a week, I'm going back to Rallys. I don't really know what kind of wheels they are, they were on there when I bought them.

Thanks for all the feedback so far guys. It will be yellow for sure, but now the big question is "what shade of yellow?" I showed my wife the yellow Vettes in this post, and it looks like we might go with the '71 Sunflower Yellow. The '77 Corvette Bright Yellow was another option, but I'd really like to see more pictures of that color if I were to change my mind to that.

When I searched for a "yellow", I got together every color chip/sample I could find and compared them side by sidein the sun light before I went with Bright Yellow. It jumped out from all the others, and I think it has less red or orange in it which makes it pop. The first thing most ask is "what color is that?"
I agree with making sure you are certain on your choice, some yellows imo make these cars look like two seater school buses
I did however spray the color over a very light colored primer with just enough coverage to get the right shade, then multi coats of clear... PPG acrylic lacquer, painted in '96 and still looks as it did then.

White with black interior is pretty striking and anything but boring.

However, 1970 had Daytona yellow which is a bit more of a mellow yellow and frankly gorgeous with black interior.

If you go to the 1970 Vette registry, you can sort by color and a lot of the owners have posted pictures so you can check it out.

What a fun time to be picking colors for your ride!

I'd go with white. Yellow looks good, but I was a NYC cab driver when I was in College and can't drive a yellow car anymore.

When I first started looking to buy a Vette, I was looking for a white /80 - /82...I thought the big white curves were gorgeous..still do. But after seeing all Ur yellow Vettes...dam...they look good! I would say if it's pre-1980, yellow...1980-82, white.
