Anyone know a good wrecking yard?
G'day Guys, does anyone have the e-mail address of a good wrecking yard please? I'm still trying to track down a scabby steering wheel to fit my '82 
and I've e-mailed 4 separate wrecking yards and not one of them even replied.

I think it's implossible to put wrecking yard and good into the same sentence. I went up to Long Beach and looked at......no names as the owner is a forum member but they were charging almost the same price for junk that I could buy brand spanking new at Corvette Central. Havve you searched for item on E-bay?

Have you tried www.contemporarycorvette.com.
They are close by me and are a Corvette only "junkyard". I have been there a few times and they are pretty good.

Try this yard. http://www.specialtyholdingsltd.com/ It's in Canada. Over 200 vettes being parted out. May save you a bit of money as well as the Canadian and Aussie dollars are almost at par. I'll be headin' for Australia (for the first time) in October. From what I've heard from friends, it's a great place.
