I previously had dial up and thought I turned off the picture loading
feature on the forum to make the pages load faster. I now have
DSL and wanted to turn this feature on but can't seem to locate it.
How do you do this?

click the User CP button (top left of screen) and then click the 'Edit Options' button. Scroll half way down the page and there are some check boxes where you set your image viewing preference.
