Default Why I love driving my C3

One reason is because nobody is ever going to pull up next to you and say,

"Wow... Nice Taurus."

C3's are just spectacular looking vehicles.

So, why do you like driving your C3?

Because of the "in your ear" big block growl from the Bullet mufflers.

Because everyone stops and stares. People even pull over to let me go by. At car shows I gather the crowds but most of all it is just plane fun to drive. It will match anything on the road right up until I chicken out. I can cruise effortless at any speed, get decent gas mileage and don't go deaf doing it.

Norval, I don't know what to say but that picture of your car took my breath away. Simply awesome. I guess it is the first full picture I have seen of it after reading about it for so long. Would love a ride in that beast someday. Bill.

It is the only car I can beat on until it breaks... then fix it! "Drive it like you stole it... or leave in the garage!"

It's unique! You don't see many on the road anymore, at least not around here.

There's no greater feeling than driving down a side street and having people yell at you and say "nice car", little boys trying to keep up on their bikes just so they can get one more look, and the chics dig em''

I washed and waxed (for delivery at a friend's dealership) my first Corvette at age 13;
27 summers later, I finally got one of my own...........
even if it IS 'just' a Cross-Fire.

Even with the slowest Corvette known to man, it turns heads wherever it goes;
it is THE sexiest-looking car to ever roll-off an American assembly-line;
and it can be heavily-modified, without resorting to 'computer-controlled'/ 'E-tuner' type stuff.

I love the feeling if driving it with the t-tops down, cool breeze in your face, chambered pipes rumbling, and the people staring at it on every intersection
