Never had one; not sure I've even known anybody that has had one...
Looks can't be beat, but unless you're gonna be turning mucho-RPM (lotta converter & gearing), I think the bottom-end response may suffer so-bad, you'll regret choosing the tunnel-ram.
Additionally, in many cases, the stock HEI won't fit, either, I don't thnk...

I have an article that shows a 355 running AFR heads and the Summit combo(Weiand tunnel/2 600 Holley carbs) and a roller cam that pushes near 500hp/445 lbs tq. They mention in the article that the torque was actually better than some singleplane intakes and explained that not all rams are sized the same. The outside dimensions may look like the race car part, but the runner volume is reduced,so low speed drivability isn't as bad as it could be.The HEI will not fit,the hood of course will have to be cut,and gobs of linkage mods will have to be made for the throttle and transmission(automatics).
When I go over the edge and cut a hole in my hood,it will be for a 6-71,where some serious power will accompany the awesome looks.
I put a mid tunnel ram on a 400 small block years ago. Although it was great at higher RPM's, the bottom end suffered and the car would "bog" down if I floored it from a standing start...
I would not consider running a tunnel ram for street use , you will only wash your rings in just a short time . Tunnel rams were designed for high RPM's and racing the majority of the time . Dont get me wrong , they look good but if you are wanting to run two fours .... get yourself a blower .
