All this pretty chrome, simple, sensible, Jackson Pollock stuff is encouraging.
How about a reality check? HELP! WHERE DOES ALL THIS STUFF GO?!? -LOL!
I had the same exact problem, i proceeded to cut EVERY wire which didnt lead to me going fast, and the engine running=all emmisions crap was cut out, all vacuum lines replaced with new ones and re-routed.
My advice to you is cut it all up, half the vacuum lines are for the evaporation canister, which in my case was already disconnected anyways.

Killer,
I was only jokin' around about the hoses. I will probably go ahead and run the hoses. It just looks so crazy with all that crap in there. The EGR and exhaust crossover is non-functional now as it has Dart Iron Eagle heads without any provisions but the rest will be checked for vacuum leaks and installed. I don't have the CAT anymore but the smog pump and stuff will stay there. The stock distributor will go in some time this week after I gut it out, recurve and replace everything. The factory curve is totaly out to lunch for non-EGR use. It looks like a totaly stock '80 L-82 but it is setup like a hotrodded 69 L-46. It will run a lot better than the smogged out L-82 did. It should even be able to fool the NCRS guys with the hood open.
