Broken reverse interlock linkage
While changing out my shifter in my '69 i noticed the cable on the reverse arm was broken. I dont even know where i can get one of those little cables...and if it's difficult to change out...anyone know? thanks

On a 69 I dont remember a cable? The reverse lock on the shifter is just a rod and spring. The linkage has a small rod for the reverse switch mechanism. If your talking about the cable to the steering safety lock feature I dont know. But you can replace the reverse switch connection to the shifter linkage with about anything Bubba style. I know you can buy the whole switch assy but your probably right, I dont remember ever seeing a cable. Sorry, no help.
