Default How's your Friday looking?

I get to drive my car tomorrow AND I get to see my girlfriend. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a great day, only drawback: I have to go into work early so I can leave early. Does it get better than this? Maybe if I win the lotto too

Gonna be 70 and sunny here tomorrow. I'll drive the vette just like most days, they're all good...

I wish I had a girlfriend to drive in my vette

You're a lucky guy you've got the 2 most amazing things in the world, a vette, and a girl

My Vette's not licensed yet.
My wife's pregnant.
I have to work all weekend.

You tell me.

Let's see: vette - nope still in pieces.
Girlfriend - I wish, have a wife instead.
Friday - I start the day with a dentist appointment.

Actually, it's not that bad. My dentist is great - never even need Novacaine.
Plus - Patriots first pre-season game and opening day of Olympics.

Oh yeah - rain all day predicted - so what, I'm not driving the vette yet.

Good actually. I got my seat belts last night which gave me the inspiration to start working on my car again.

Oh, btw, thanks for those photos of the interior. I couldn't have gotten my door panels installed without them. They are both on now with the arm rests and latch cups installed. I'm not going to put the pdl switchs or the mirror joysticks in for a while.

You're very welcome, I'm glad to do it anytime. Why are you waiting on the joy sticks and switches?

Joysticks - cause I don't have the part that the escutchion mounts too.

pdl switches - I've been thinking about that. To open up my car, all someone would need is a hanger bent into a straight line with a kink in the end. Slide that between the weatherstripping and the window and they can unlock the doors with the switch. On the end of the lock rod that sticks out of the armrest, I've got straight caps without the **** on the end. So, it is almost impossible to unlock the door using a hanger.

I know, just another case of me over analyizing everything.

analyzing can also make you do it really well.

Just a thought on the theft though...I beleive that most are gonna just pop the window and get the out of dodge...fix the window later..

I might have to

And she's not too fond of the vette, I think because she's intimidated by it. She'd rather enjoy her "new" golf. But she's not driving, I am, and when I do I look like this

Looking pretty good tomorrow.

1. I'm off.

2. My daughter just passed her driver's test today so I don't need to drive a hoard to Cross country practice and then band camp.

3. My wife will be at work until 6PM.

4. I got most of the grass cut today.

5. My cutting torch should be here tomorrow.

Now you have the joy and privilege of paying for a 16-year old's car insurance - I have two driving daughters under 18

Tomorrow is going to be 30-32 C (about 90 F) and sun, sun, sun. I'll take the vette to work just because and have the t tops packed away.
A nice day is just another excuse to drive the vette.

You guys in FL. take care! We wish you well. Stay safe
