Default Parking brake consol question

How do you get the flipping thing off???
I can't get that little nut off inside the consol, am I missing something simple???

Not sure what "little nut" you refer too, but there is a through bolt coming from the rear storage compartment securing the e-brake console. Reach it by removing the glove box.

That thing is a beotch!!! Just wait till you go to put it back in. I can't remeber the exact size but I wound up using a 1/4" drive ratchet to get at mine with a couple of extensions. Most of the time once removed, the bolt in the back never gets put back. I wound up using a dremel and opening up the surrounding metal so I could get at the bolt a little easier. This may be what is holding you back too.
