Well we have to sell our 80 vette =/ and was wondering what kind of price should i look for. And what kind of tips to clean the engine bay relative cheap. I have a 91 mustang gt and spent many nights hidding all the wires and vacumn lines behind the fenders so ill do pretty much anything =p.

And it needs a new carb and intake since the electric chock has gone out and its lookin pretty badly esp since the intake kinda of moldy lookin for some reason. Wondering what type of carb/intake should i look for to put on it nothing too fancy but something that will work. I was told maybe a 650 and performer intake(if anyone wants to sell =D)

Its a 1980 vette t-top, dad owned it since 81
-3yr old white paint job(org color)
-the interior carpet/leather seats are about 2yrs old (blue leather)
-has aorund 130k miles on it
-Everything is original,unfortunently no goodies (cept soon to be carb/intake)
-original 4 speed
-cd player ( didn't mess up any wood trim doing it)
-garage kept
-good shap not excellent but not bad


the things wrong with it
-The brakes are kind of mushy and seems to be needed to fill up with brake fluid ...hopefully ill figure out whats the problem there
-the headlights need helping getting up
-needs a tune up since its been like 5 yrs and only drivin 50 miles
-needs tires since there prob dry rotted by now
-a/c doesn't work
-and the turn signal stick broke and we tried to replace it but find it imposible to take all the steering wheel stuff off any tips? thanks
