1982 Corvette Idles high and engine stumbles
My 1982 Corvette has been acting up the past few days since i moved from Colorado to California. When i got out here the engine began to surge and the idle would drop down and almost die. So i had the fuel pump replaced and this made the car run a lot smoother, but when it gets hot out now the engine fast idles at about 2000 rpms in drive and about 1500 rpms in neutral.
Also when it stumbles white smoke poors out of the tailpipes.
Im not sure exacty what this could be but i do need some advice.
