I just picked up my car from getting a new winshield put in. All I can say is if you are in the Phila. area take your car to see Sean at "The Vette Shop" He did a great job! I had him put new clips on for the top stainless trim also. More then half of the clips were bent, missing or just gone. Now my trim looks and fits like it should. He found no rust at all around the frame. I know anytime I need something done to my car that is just to hard for me. Thats where I'll take it. It's nice to find a shop that you can count on.
Had new window put in my 75 coupe about a week ago and there's a gap between the glass and the trim on the passenger's side that measures approx 3/8". You have any space on the sides?
man, I need a new winshield too, I got a nice crack growing up from the center bottom of the glass. Its only a couple inches, and hasnt really grown since I started driving the car. I think it began while the body was off, but I still need to replace it now. Anyone know a place in, or near New Haven Connecticut? You think glass insurance would cover it?

No spaces at all. It look like it came from the factory. I'm very happy with the job. I had one of the window people that come to your house look at it. He just scratched his head and didn't know where to start. The vacume wiper door through him off big time. Thats when I knew I had to take it to a shop that had done this before. Most likly a bit more money, but the piece of mind is worth it!
