Default spark plug question (All MSD upgrade)

I have a 69 427. I recently went all Msd (wires, distributor, coil, ignition)
I still cant get things to run correctly (yes it is timed properly) however it still bucks and refuses to shut off. MSD thinks its a spark plug issue. they told me to run the coldest plugs i could run with out stalling the engine.....So the real question is...anybody have a spark plug recommendation?

Default Distributor upgrade

Hello,
I dont have an answer for you, but am waiting to read what other people post. I have a '73 with a 454 engine and want to do the same thing. My main distributor shaft does not have any tach drive teeth on it. So I figured I would go pointless and join the electronic age. Now that I read your post, I am going to wait until I see what type of problems/answers the Forum comes up with.

PS. Good luck!

for your own info, everyone I have talked to recommended the MSD distrubutor (I have the pro billet with tach drive and vacuum advance)
I have the 6200 series ignition with the blaster 2 coil. I cant wait to see how it all works when I get every thing adjusted. I think part of my problem may also be the Holly carb I have on mine.

Default Distributor upgrade

Thanks for the update.
When I started adding up the cost to fix my points distributor, it almost equaled the cost of a new MSD unit. I need a new main distributor drive shaft ( $60), tach drive gear ( $40) new points, condensor, rotor, cap ($60) hours of frustration to take out and install rebuilt distributor ( priceless )..... I figured a little more dollars and I could get a brand new distributor, but still keep the original one for ...." some day"... when I want to go back to all stock.
