Default Water spots

82 with original rear window has water spots that i have not found anything that will remove them.
White vinegar and 0000 steel wool did nothing.
Need suggestions

You might try clay bar. I used it on '96 windshield and it worked great. Go to C4 General and search on "Claybar" (without the quotes).

If the steel wool did not do it, I skeptical that anything will help.

I have successfully used Bon Ami on water-spots. It is a powered cleaner sold in supermarkets. It is cheap, so maybe you will want to give it a try.

Claybar, or get some stuff called "Ducky". I used to use Ducky on my jet skiis. It was specifically designed to remove water spots off of watercraft.

Default Water Spots

Had lots of cleaning and light scratch removal rubbing compound so i tried that first with 0000 steel wool and lots of elbow grease. It took three cleanings and two steel wool pads for the back glass.Morale of this story is don't ever let it go this far.I do like Bubba but i can't find him/her.

Steel wool is required for the toughest spots. But, if you want a chemical assist, or something to help keep the spots off then the best place to find that is from places who work with shower doors. I've got some stuff called "Water Stain Remover" which I think my mom picked up at a hardware store. It's just some polishers. There is no brand name, just a distributor: "Statewide Distributors (916) 921-0369". It worked great on my shower doors! Now, I just squeegy off the water after I shower and they are still spotless after a year, and there was enough deposits to make it hard to see through them.

WD-40 did the trick on my D.D. back window.
The well water from the lawn sprinkler caused mineral spot buildup.

I used chrome polish on one of my windows... it works, but it's a lot of rubbing.
