Thanks again everyone for the encouraging words, I really appreciate them. It is back at my house as of last night...the drive gets scarier each time I ride on that spring. My mom did tell me she may need me to bring it back...the driveway just looks emptier now.

CGGorman, sorry about your dad as well. Not sure about your's or your dad's age but this is really hard right now...I will only be 30 in December and I am the oldest. Good time in my life to inherit something crazy like this Vette I suppose. I know my dad was to the point he was ready to sell it because he was just tired of the problems...the spring was the last straw. So I wonder if I did the right thing.
