I finaly got my plates, kinda of a noob to manual transmision since my previous car ( firebird ) was an auto, so gonna take car to a nice empty spot tomorrow, and practice, and play a bit!
I can finaly roam the streets in my vette!!!!!!!
Also my friend thinks he could beat me in a 1/4 mile race with his stock 92 mx-6 ( typical ricer soul ) Should be fun in september at the track, better start cruising, an practicing

Make sure to get some practice on the hills also. I took my son over to one of the school parking lots that has a nice little hill and made him make me feel comfortable with his skill pulling out on a hill. That is probably one of the hardest things to learn when beginning to drive in a manual. Good luck and be safe.
