I'm thinking about these since my car doesn't have anything for a muffler shop to replicate.
I bought a set of those for my 77 Camaro that I no longer have,& never used them.They didnt have the extra pipe on either end though. If you want them you can have them for less.You dont necessarily have to follow the original stock size as long as there arent clearance issues.The Flowmasters I have are pretty close on size to originall,though.
Speaking of mufflers of course. The hooker aerochamber is the unsung hero of mufflers for corvettes. IMHO I have them on a camaro and they sound great. Loud enough to hear when you open it up and quiet at cruise speeds, with a good deep idle.
Why not on my vette you ask?
