Anyone remember or know of a company that made and sold canvas ttops? They folded up and stored easy. I'd be interested in a set if someone still made them.
I can't remember the name of the company, but I had a canvas targa top for my 84. It wasn't worth the hassle of unfolding, strapping it in with the velcro. I'm pretty sure that it was unstable at high speeds, above eighty mph, if I recall. I am unaware of a t-top version.
Eckler's sells "Raincoats" made by Fox Enterprizes for about $280.
I have the 2-piece version for my '80 but could part with them if you are interested. They fold and are in great shape. These do not use velcro and go on like the regular T-tops.
Well if they are in perfect condition I might be interested. Got a pic of them?
Added:
Ok sorry but do you have to lay down a strip of velcro across the front and back? If so I don't know now as that could make things look a lil wired. I guess if ya got cought out and just had to use something you could add them and take off after use.

The company that made the tops with stock (non-velcro) mounting pins/brackets went out of business around 1985. Those units do pop up on EBay from time-to-time.

I used to have a pair for my '78 and I loved them. They looked nice on the silver anniversary and you didn't have to worry about them getting damaged when you took them off
