Default Need Help With Radio Change

My '69 has aftermarket radio installed. I just picked up the stock radio from the previous owner and want to reinstall it. The shop manual is helpful for a general understanding of where everything goes, but does not have a procedure specific to changing the radio. I'm wondering if anyone knows an easy, quick way to accomplish this. Don't want to mess with anything else right now as all of the bells and whistles work fine (except the clock of course). Just want to get it back to stock.

Thanks,
Joe

Assuming the wiring is intact just remove an access plate (I like the RH one) and take the old one out and put the new one in. Do you have the correct *****, nuts, and washers? Did they hack the center console to put the aftermarket one in? Not a horrible job to do unless the wiring is gone.

Yea if the wiring is still there's it'splug/bolt/play if it's not then it's split/slice/split/slice/test/splice 'plug, and play'

Yeah that's what I did. Untangled everything from the aftermarket installation and found the plugs(3 of them, two small, one big). Only problem was that I couldn't seem to figure out where on the radio the antenna wire connects. I put the dash back together and was happy to see that the radio pretty much worked but of course no reception. When I took out the aftermarket radio the antenna plugged into the back of it, but there's no place on the original to plug it into. I'm wondering how this is supposed to work. Couldn't decipher the diagrams in my service manual.
