Default Introduction Thread.....

Hi Everyone
Been reading the boards for a while, trying to learn as much as possible and I decided to finally get an ID and become a little more active. While I may not classify myself as a Vette enthuusiast (really non-restrictire auto enthusiast...Love all cars, racing, etc!) I have ALWAYS dreamed of owning a C3. In my opinion, I simply do not believe their is a sexier car on the road.

To make a long story short, I am finally in a financial position where I can afford to get my car, my fiance is on board and we are starting to shop and actually looking at this baby tonight:
73 Convertible...Seems adequately maintained
With any luck, I may be able to join your ranks soon but I will try to continue learning as much as I can along the way.

Shane

Welcome. No matter what you buy, you'll wonder why you didn't buy it YEARS ago!

The car looks sweet. With that much investment I would orde a CAR FAX and see what it comes up with. I think they cost less than $50 bucks.

Welcome and good luck. A lot of helpful and knowledgeable folks here who care.

Good luck finding the right car for you.

Make sure you check everything especially the frame (particularly in front of the rear wheels) and I would also ask why and how well the 79 replacement engine was installed...

other then that it looks like a good looking car!!!

Welcome Shane. You have found the best Corvette Forum on the internet, hands down. Looking forward to hearing from you when you do get the ride.
BTW, Carfax will tell you nothing on that car. Carfax does not go that far back.
