Default BB PS bracket help

I have been trying to figure out why my Alt/PS adjusting bracket does not seem to be fitting correctly. The only way I can get all of the holes to line up correctly is to shim the stud with a few washers. According to the assembly manual there are no washers or spacers between the stud and exhaust manifold. I bought the stud from Paragon to replace the bolt and washer combination that was there before. It was not fitting correctly either but I figured that was because it was not the correct part. The bracket does not appear to be bent so all I can figure is that the stud is not correct. Can anyone out there who has a BB with PS take a picture of the installation or just let me know what it looks like. I have also included a picture of the stud I got from Paragon.

Thanks

Jay
