I just sent this to GM

As a GM shareholder and Corvette owner and enthusiast I would like to express my disappointment with your decision to pull the "Boy with a Dream" ad. My concearn is two fold.

As a corvette owner, and consumer in general, I don't like special interests trying to influence my buying decisions. I felt your ad was very well done and very accurately depicted what drove most corvette owners to their final buying decision...a lifetime admiration for the vehicle.

As a GM shareholder, I question the business busines logic in catering to Ms Fennell's special interest group and alienating your exact client base. I seriously doubt Ms. Fennell is on the C6 waiting list or even owns a GM product. In evaluating this decision, I must question how well GM knows its target market. A corvette purchase in many ways is a statement that you refuse to capitulate to constant pressure to politically correct conformity. I would suggest visiting one of the many corvette group forums and see what your true customer's are saying about the ad and GM's decision to drop it.

Thank you for providing your customers with this vehicle to deliver our message and in the future...lets air the Saturn ads during gymnastics and the tire smoking 360 ads during NASCAR and NFL programming.
