Edelbrock adapter???

I've ordered an Edelbrock 600cfm carb to replace my Q-jet.
What type of adapter will I need to fit the Edelbrock square bore on to my 79 L82 spread bore manifold,can it be an open plenum,or should it have the 4 holes to match the carb?

If your auto. is stock you would probably like the 4 hole better for more torque. Note the height of any adapter. Intake instead of adapter rec.

You're going to need the ported (4 hole) adapter..... Edelbrock #2696.

Be carefull and check for hood clearance with the adapter.

Thanks everone for the replies,it's a 1405.I prefer the manual choke,that way I know that it's off,also has slightly richer jetting.
I will go ahead & order the 4 hole adapter,
