Been a while since i was able to drive the vette from all the changes i made to it,i just finished up the vb&p oring caliper rebuild kit to the calipers ,and stainless hose kit,new rotors, new pads,vb&p crossmember reinforcing plates,i had cut the #450 lb springs almost 2 coils and with the bilstien shocks the 360# vb&p spring the 1 1/8 front bar and the 3/4 rear bar,the 17 inch boyd rims and nitto nt450 tires this thing handles like a dream now, firm but not too firm and brakes on a dime.Oh and the sidepipes rock with my custom spiral mufflers i made,a few neoghbors gave me a thumbs up going down the street and its not even painted yet, looks like a spotted cow. Whoever is gone to do there brake calipers over get the oring kit and do it,much better with the stainless hose kit too much firmer pedal.Tony at vb&p is the man!!!!!! Got to get it done fast before the baby arrives, then ill have no time to work on it.

I agree with you 100% on the VBP O-ring kit. Those kits are easy to install and work great. Glad to hear it is working out for you. Better get out there and finish that thing up.

Pictures aren't up today Pat. I'm sure it looks awesome.
Is the O-ring a kit that you add to your present calipers or are they completely new calipers? Since I have my engine pulled, I'm going to replace my front brake lines to SS and use SS braided. I'm thinking I may replace the calipers too.
Since you cut your coils, what's your front fender lip height now?
Relax, once the baby arrives, you'll still have "Vette" time, only not as much.
Len,my car always sat high for some reason ,ill have to remeasure tonight and let you know. And yes i took my old calipers which are stainless sleeved already and just put there oring kit in.
Pat, as you may know, the factory (GM) never used the fender height as a ride height referance on any car, because the body construction variations can be off from car to car...they allways used the FRAME to ground referances.....harder to do, but there is a spec on it....somewhere, in the shop manuals....
seems we all are used to just measuring off the fender lip, and that's inaccurate as hell.....makes me wonder if you are in fact correct about your car 'riding high'.....
BTW, them short people turn out cute, for the most part, so watch it there bub, you can get distracted real easy...;-)))
