Yeah, fuel economy and throttle response would be great. Not to mention the lack of choke issues that I currently deal with... Warm air choke on daily driver not so good. Have replaced the damn choke every year for 5 years!!!!
Low revs & high torque would be excellent- but I think a little higher than 4500 would be good. Would just aftermarket injectors and runners get it to 5000 w/o going to the LT1 intake?
And will the TPI work with my old style heads? Planning on the Trick Flow KD series.
Low RPM's are a must- going with a SCAT 9000 cast crank & SCAT rods. Haven't chosen a piston yet- but looking for about 9.8 - 10.1 CR with 64cc heads in a flat top. Daily driver- want to run mid-grade pump gas. Per SCAT the cast crank is good to 6000RPM- but would not want to push it past 5500 at most.
5000 would suffice I think.
Like I said- this is a brand new idea for me- wanted to do the Holley TBI but the cost makes it out of the question for this winter.
