Default C3s & Kwiklifts

I saw the kwiklift booth at carlisle and now I'm jazzed to get one after I get my floor painted. I don't have much ceiling height so its perfect.

My question is, how accessible are the frame rails to jack the car on the center supports?

Can you easily support the front & back? The front rails bend in so they don't seem like a problem, but the back rails are on the outside of the car. Do you put the jack stands on the ramp rather than the center support?

I been using one for the past 4 years now. I don't use the jack bridge other then to support the two ramps. I use the vette jack to pick up the car when I want to remove the wheels. I made wood blocks out of 4x4's that support the frame of the car. Jack stands would work too but I get better area support with the blocks.

Like Gary sais. I use a scissor jack or small floor jack (with wheels removed) and jack right off the ramp. Then place blocks between the ramp and frame. It takes a little experimenting to get the car in the right orientation on the ramps to do this. I have marks on my ramps so that I can place it easily now and up it goes. The quick lift is great.

Rob's a pretty smart guy and I think it was his idea to block up the car in the first place.
Here's picture a to help you out.

I recently purchased a DoublePark lift to stack a couple and do the same type of work that I did on the Kwiklift so I'm putting mine up for sale.

It's in NEW condition, Black Powder Coat, 2 Centerbridges and 4 Casters. Delivered it was over $1700 with shipping. I'm asking $1200 and pick-it-up only. I'm in NY. Anyone who wanted one, here's a chance to save some money.
