Side Mirror distance from glass?
Final touches on my interior change and door reconstruction but when I was cleaning the side windows I noticed that the driver’s side mirror was about ¼” away from the glass and the passenger side was about an 1”. Is this normal or did I put the drivers side back on wrong?

I don't know but someone posted not long ago that their is a wedge under the mount next to the door that if put on wrong causes the mirror to tilt on the wrong angle. If this is the case it would account for the mirror being closer.
A simple reversing the wedge would correct this.
