The one in my 74 coupe works great, it even scared off a wouldbe intruder while having dinner one night. Granted, it is not the loudest alarm around, but it was enough to bring attention to someone who did not want it. Both the door and hood alarm work.

Mine started going off and would not shut down. I reached under the fender and pulled the wire off the horn. Problem solved!

I bet that is why they are cut etc.

My 82 works great... I like the security of t-top removal causing the horn to go off.

Default The one on my '71 works fine

There is not much to go wrong. Once I had to clean one of the door switches, but there was nothing to that. I ordered the alarm as an option and wouldn't be without it.
